President Donald Trump announced he was backing U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) in Alabama's contested U.S. Senate primary.
Trump endorsed Moore, who represented Alabama's second congressional district from 2020 until 2025 and currently represents the first congressional district since the beginning of last year, on his social media platform, Truth Social.
"Barry Moore is a good friend, fighter, and WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next United States Senator from Alabama — BARRY WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!", Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social.
He also encouraged Republican Baton Rouge Congresswoman Julia Letlow to enter the Louisiana Senate race against incumbent Sen. Bill Cassidy, giving her his "complete and total" endorsement in an overnight social media post Saturday.
Trump called Letlow a "Great Star" and "TOTAL WINNER" in his Truth Social post. "RUN, JULIA RUN!!!"
“I know Julia well, have seen her tested at the highest and most difficult levels, and she is a TOTAL WINNER,” Trump wrote in Saturday's post.During Trump's presidency from 2017 to 2021, Ballotpedia tracked 305 endorements.
