'What Democrats bring to the table' by Vincent

When Democrats controlled the White House, the senate, and the house of representatives, they had the trifecta; they had the power to address the so-called affordability crisis, and they failed miserably. Families struggled with rising grocery bills, soaring rent, expensive health care, and fuel prices that drained household budgets. Yet, instead of delivering relief for the American family, Democrat leaders pursued policies that increased government spending, expanded regulation, and declared war on the energy sector that powers the economy.

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), passed in 2021 without a single Republican vote, injected roughly 1.9 trillion into an economy already recovering from the COVID pandemic. Supporters claimed the bill would protect workers, help families, and accelerate America’s recovery. But economists warned that excessive stimulus dollars would intensify inflation. The result was a massive increase across the entire economy. Inflation reached 9.1% in June of 2022, the highest annual rate in the last four decades. Wages failed to keep pace, meaning working Americans lost its purchasing power even when wages were increased. The Democrat response was to blame corporate America, the war in Ukraine, Russia, supply chains, and of course the Democrat dog whistle, Donald Trump.

Their failure was not theoretical, it was felt at every gas pump, every supermarket checkout stand, and every doctor’s office visit; and they scoffed at it, calling it “transitory.” They presented government expansion as the solution, and created complicated subsidies, ridiculous mandates, and bureaucratic programs rather than reforms that attack the underlying costs. They spent trillions of dollars and pretended it had no responsibility.

Their energy policies, both past and present, expose the same cynical ideological pattern. On the campaign trail Democrat leaders speak constantly about lowering energy and fuel costs while signaling hostility towards domestic production and refinement of oil, natural gas, coal, and other fossil fuels. The Biden administration cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline, imposed regulatory uncertainty, restricted leasing and drilling on federal lands, denied appeals for offshore drilling, and repeatedly declared the country must move away from fossil fuels. Democrats demanded that Americans abandon affordable and dependable energy while asking those same Americans to accept higher utility bills and fuel costs.

Even more troubling is the growing influence of the party’s fringe Islamic activists and self-proclaimed socialists. Many of these folks openly advocate for government takeovers, price controls, sweeping wealth redistribution, and the abolition and abandonment of entire industries. Any or all of these would undo the massive reshoring of the manufacturing sector currently taking place, America’s energy independence, fair and reciprocal trade, and the massive deregulation effort, which ended the assault on American businesses and workers.

We must acknowledge that giving Democrats political control over any branch of government would be detrimental to the current trajectory of prosperity. Their record of excessive spending, regulatory expansion, anti-energy policies, and resistance to structural reform for America first values suggest they would once again make things much worse.

The central issue is competence. As stated above, Democrats had complete control and a clear opportunity to demonstrate that their agenda would improve everyday life for Americans. Instead, families encountered hyper-inflation, unaffordable housing, expensive healthcare, lower wages, and volatile energy prices. The party who proclaimed to represent working people presided over one of the worst economic declines in U.S history. Then had the temerity to insult voters by insisting the economic pain was merely a messaging problem.

Power should be earned through results not rhetoric. A party that spends recklessly, undermines reliable energy, expands bureaucracy, and refuses to take accountability does not deserve unlimited governing authority. If Democrats want to regain public trust, they must disavow the fringe radical communists within their midst. They must also abandon the politics of blame and confront their ideological failures honestly. Until then, Americans have every reason to distrust them and deny them control.

Americans should demand leaders that understand basic supply and demand, the necessity of gross domestic production, continued investment and innovation, respect for the American taxpayer, and measure success by its ability to increase and expand western capitalist values. Sadly, for today’s Democrat party, it has morphed into a hodge-podge of anti-American radical left militants tethered to the pro migration globalist mantra that seeks the destruction of western values and its culture. The midterms are not just about political parties; they are about putting American families in the best possible position for generations to come. In other words, putting “America first.”
