President Trump is set to sign a religious freedom executive order on Thursday — coinciding with the National Day of Prayer.
Two senior administration officials told Politico that Trump has invited conservative leaders to the White House, where he will sign the executive order on religious freedom.
The potential order comes after a draft leaked in February of legislation that would have established religious exemptions for businesses and individuals. Vice President Pence and his team have been reportedly working on re-writing the language of the original draft after it was blasted by the gay community.
