A spokesperson for U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell said Saturday morning that he "continues his recovery in the hospital."

McConnell was reportedly found "unconscious" at his home in Washington the day he was hospitalized, according to reporting from FOX News. The outlet reported that audio from the 911 call on June 14 indicated the senator was "unconscious" when emergency crews were dispatched. The dispatcher also requested an advanced life support response.

"As you can imagine, we have been receiving lots of messages from folks, and as the senator continues to recover, we will be sure to keep you updated," a spokesperson said Saturday.

"In the meantime, Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he's receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital. The senator continues to improve and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session. Thanks for continuing to check in."

Video recorded by a neighbor of McConnell's Washington, D.C., home shows a person being loaded into an ambulance the morning of June 14 as questions about his health remain.

The neighbor shared the video with CNN. It was recorded the day McConnell's team said the 84-year-old senator was hospitalized about three weeks ago.

The neighbor who recorded the video said U.S. Capitol Police blocked the street, with two ambulances and a fire truck at the scene. A person was then taken from a home on a stretcher, wrapped in a blanket and without an oxygen mask. Other neighbors told CNN they saw McConnell's face.
