TUMWATER, WA – On Thursday, Let’s Go Washington will deliver signatures for two more citizen initiatives to the Secretary of State office in Tumwater. Once verified, the initiatives will be sent to the Legislature in January to act on them or proceed to the November ballot in 2024, allowing Washington voters to say “no” once again to any income tax. Initiative 2111 would prohibit income taxes throughout the state, while Initiative 2109 would repeal the tax on capital gains income. Income taxes have been rejected by Washington voters at the ballot box over 10 times.
