SEATTLE — A 42-year-old man was sentenced to eight years in prison on Tuesday for dealing drugs in a vehicle that was stolen from a family who had it parked in the Seattle Children's hospital parking garage while their child was undergoing treatment.
The man, Timothy Robert Laucks, of Seattle, pleaded guilty on Sept. 26, 2023, to possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). U.S. District Judge James L. Robart also assigned Laucks three years of supervised release to succeed the prison term.
