The human body is an extraordinarily complex electrical machine. We are made up of 70 percent water. Electricity is everywhere and required for life. Our cells are specialized to conduct electrical currents. Electricity is required for the nervous system to send signals throughout the body and to the brain, making it possible for us to move, think, and feel.
The human body will respond to externally applied electromagnetic stimuli both positively and negatively. As an example, the hazards of electric shock are lethal, yet the use of the defibrillator for restarting the heart can be lifesaving. Electrical therapy and testing occur frequently in medicine and in our everyday lives. Electrical impedance tomography produces cross-sectional images of the distribution of electrical impedance in the body. This gives a clear picture of any region medical professionals want to observe, aiding in discoveries of cancers or abnormal cells. Basic low-level electrical impedance is used with our bathroom scales for measuring body composition. Meanwhile, in the field of psychiatry, magnetic nerve stimulation uses currents induced by large magnetic field pulses to stimulate nerves and the human brain. This type of therapy can be beneficial to those with PTSD and depression, without the use of chemical based drugs being required.
It’s clear that EMF affects our body, so this brings us to the question of whether 5G wireless radiation is dangerous to humans. I would say it is very dangerous, and not just to humans, but to all living organisms.
This Scientific American article “We Have No Reason to Believe 5G is Safe” (Oct.17th, 2019) is a must read!
It states, “The preponderance of peer-reviewed research, more than 500 studies, have found harmful biological or health effects from exposure to RFR (radio frequency radiation) at intensities too low to cause significant heating.” “Citing this large body of research, more than 240 scientists who have published peer-reviewed research on the biologic and health effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) signed the International EMF Scientist Appeal,” which makes the following assertions: “Numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines. Effects include increased cancer risk, cellular stress, increase in harmful free radicals, genetic damages, structural and functional changes of the reproductive system learning and memory deficits, neurological disorders, and negative impacts on general well-being in humans. Damage goes well beyond the human race, as there is growing evidence of harmful effects to both plant and animal life.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) in an August 4th 2016 article wrote: “The reported symptoms from EMF exposure include headaches, nausea, fatigue, and loss of libido.”
The National Institute of Health reported that EMF disrupts the chemical structures of tissue since a high degree electromagnetic energy absorption can change the electric current in the body (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov / “Effects of electromagnetic fields exposure on the antioxidant defense system”).
The scientific community is in complete agreement that EMF and RFR negatively affect the human body. As a society 5G is something to be concerned about as the government and telecom companies spend hundreds of billions of dollars installing new cell towers. These towers will be emitting radiation close to where we live, work, and our children go to school. There are ways to lessen the negative effects on your body. Knowledge is power. ◆
