For far too long, a bureaucratic deep state has operated on American soil with impunity, and escaped accountability from we the people.  Recently declassified documents by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard shows just how far the Obama administration and its lackeys were willing to go to keep an outsider like, then candidate Donald Trump from ever seeing the inside of the White House. 
 
We’re talking about documents that expose blatant misconduct at the highest levels of government by Barrack Obama’s administration; revealing how top officials like, John Brennan, James Comey, and John Clapper orchestrated a scheme to undermine the presidency of then President Elect Donald Trump.  This isn’t just a scandal; it’s our worst fears realized and deserves every ounce of our outrage. It’s an absolute disgrace and must be brought forward to see the light of day.
 
Director Gabbard is not just handing us pieces of paper, she’s throwing down the gauntlet.  She’s demanding that we confront the ugly truth regarding the lengths the bureaucratic deep state was willing to go to preserve their power.  They symbolize the arrogance and hubris of an elite class that believes it is above reproach and can escape accountability, while trampling over the rights of everyday Americans.
 
These documents scream that our former intelligence agencies stooped to new lows, fabricating documents, providing false testimony, and falsifying FISA warrant applications to surveil Donald Trump, and his associates based on the dubious and discredited “Steele dossier;” commonly known as the “Russia collusion hoax.”  Folks, this isn’t just politics as usual, it’s an unprecedented assault on our democracy itself. 
 
Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) warrants, the so-called judicial oversight mechanism meant to protect citizens from overreach, were turned into weapons in the hands of these reprobates.  With false information derived from the fabricated Steele dossier, which was procured and funded by Hilary Clinton’s campaign, they managed to spy on a United States Presidential candidate. 
 
How’s that for election integrity?  You’d think that the people tasked with safeguarding our nation would behave with some semblance of integrity, but no, they chose to pick a side and corrupted the very system they swore to protect.
 
But why, why would they conduct themselves in such an egregious manner?  The answer is quite simple, fear.  Fear that a political outsider might actually disrupt their long-standing systemic corruption.  They could not trust a man that wasn’t beholden to the system.  So, instead of welcoming honest political discourse, they opted for intimidation, deceit, and manipulation, while the fake news media parroted their narrative.  The term “fake news media” is a well-deserved term; and let’s not ever forget their complicity in this matter.  They were all too eager to pounce on Trump’s every misstep and provide cover for the rogue deep state operatives.  
 
So here we are with undeniable evidence that points to a coordinated effort to undermine Trump’s candidacy, and ultimately his presidency.  Unfortunately, more often than not, these career bureaucrats get to walk away without substantial consequences; but that ends now.  The time has come for the abusers of the public trust to be brought to light and face substantial scrutiny; no matter who they are. 
 
We the people must understand the enormity of this situation.  The malfeasance designed to subvert America’s electoral process cannot go unpunished.  We must hold these high-ranking wrongdoers accountable.  We cannot be ok with our intelligence agencies playing political hit-squad, and then going on a book tour to pontificate their moral superiority.  Because if we are, we can say goodbye to integrity in America’s elections forever. 
 
Tulsi Gabbard has placed the ball squarely in the people’s court, and it’s up to the people to demand answers.  Will we allow the deep-state elitists to trample on our way of life, or will we stand up for the democratic principles our republic was founded upon?   I will say this, if we continue to sit idly by, we will deserve exactly what we get.  When all is said and done, President Obama and his security cabinet manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup.  Let that sink all the way in.
