Election integrity is vital to your future

The world is rapidly changing around us and with every change, there is a push to normalize new behavior. And COVID was just the beginning.

Our election process across the nation is turning into a complete sham. And with that, I would like to give you a few things to consider as we are now on our way to 2024.

There was no red wave. And there was never going to be one.

There is a lot to consider as to how the American public can endure the kind of inflation we are seeing and much uncertainly and essentially vote for the status quo. And while many are just going to blame the machines and decry election fraud, I do believe there is more to the story.

Gen Z (voting ages 18-24) is now voting. According to Edison Research, about 12.5% of voters in the 2022 midterms were between the ages of 18 and 30 (Gen Z and younger Millennials). And according to some exit polling, these young people are voting with a D+28 bias.

Translation: conservatives are losing the war with young people. Most likely due to the indoctrination centers that we are sending them to and paying for with our tax dollars.

It is also suspected that the overturning of Roe v Wade and the fear of losing rights to an abortion fueled additional voter turnout from this age group.

With that, rather than creating the feeling of impending doom for the future of America, I would like to suggest that we consider where the hope of liberty lies.

It is with the states.

In studying some of the recent election turnout numbers here in Washington, it is appalling (in my view) to see the disparity between turnout in Presidential election years, and years with primarily only statewide races on the ballot (even for Governor).

For example, in the 2020 election between Biden and President Trump, 69.3% of registered voters in Washington turned out to vote. But last year in 2022 where we had one US Senator up for re-election, no President, and slim pickings for Governor, less than 40% of registered voters showed up. I would submit to you that the lack of urgency voters feel towards state elections will ultimately contribute to a continued degradation of state sovereignty and an unhealthy reliance on the federal government and some supposed savior in the White House.

I have made this statement a few times over the past couple of years in various speaking engagements, “Rescue is not coming from Washington D.C.” Our path to liberty and the security of our future is right here in the county of Snohomish.

Real conservatives ought to be much less concerned with who is in the White House in 2024 and more focused on putting conservatives in Olympia, our school boards, county commissions, and on the benches of our state courts. We cannot control the voting habits of California and New York which will continue to have a great impact on national politics. But we can control what happens here at the local and state levels.

Federal elections are constitutionally run by each individual state. And there are some states I simply do not trust.

This is one reason why it is so important that we ensure that our elections are secure here in Washington. We cannot lose voter confidence here in the state and we must ensure that every voter, every ballot, and every count is authenticated. And if national elections are any indication, we cannot provide that kind of security with machines.

As stated in a recent Washington Post article, “As the nation has grown and technology has developed, the process has become more complicated.” Really? So, the argument is that as voters, we should expect things to continue to devolve in our elections. This statement was in response to the question, “Why does it take so long to count votes?”

Let me tell you what was never all that complicated. Paper ballots. I do not buy the argument that an increased level of complication is a necessary path to security. That is a lie. And it is meant to condition voters to continue to accept more complexity in our elections as those in control continue to cheat their way into power.

An election should never be too complicated for the voter. And it should be accessible to the voter and have the ability to be fully audited by the voter. The only way to accomplish that goal is with simplicity. Paper ballots.

Let’s take a peek into the future.

It is estimated that 63% of voters ages 18-29 vote Democrat. And that age group coming into the 2024 elections is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Add to that the underbelly of campaign finance and some speculation on how the Ukraine war may have been a money laundering operation for the midterm elections. Mike Adams reports that Ukraine may have used funds received from our corrupt US Government to invest into FTX (cryptocurrency) and then funneled that money back to Democrats to fund their midterm campaigns. At the helm of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, a CEO and Democrat megadonor, is now under investigation.

I am going to level with you. I do not have a lot of hope in Washington D.C. And certainly, our coasts are going to continue down the path of progressive lunacy. And my prediction is that Democrats will run Michelle Obama for President in 2024. Joe Rogan has talked about it. Forbes has opined on it. There is even a movie about it.

Gen Z voters + machines + offshore campaign finance + Michelle Obama = an incredibly difficult path to the White House for Republicans in 2024.

The point? Our state is the point. And being more concerned with securing liberty here locally is the point. Our time and our treasure must be devoted to securing our state and doing everything we can to minimize the impact of national and global forces.
