We hunkered down praying for mercy. Losing power and getting strong winds was nothing compared to other parts of the south east. North Carolina, South Carolina and parts of TN have been devastated. Beautiful small towns destroyed by water. People left homeless. No power, water, food and even some loosing their lives. A horrific turn of events.
I just wonder… shouldn’t our government care a bit more and give a bit more assistance? They are estimating in the billions to rebuild. Now parts of FEMA are somehow out of money they say? Maybe our bureaucrats in DC shouldn’t have given so much of our tax payer money to the Ukrainian government and kept some for the hard working Americans. Talk about taking care of Our Own right now!
We should be taking care of our hurting people instead of abroad?
Trillions in debt and now this? I feel like all Americans are sighing and waiting to exhale until another 30 days for the next election.
America can’t stand another weak administration. We need strong leadership in these trying times. Someone we can turn to and they can take the helm and say “With God all things will be alright.
It is a definite struggle to find joy right now. The stresses of this world are looming; Expensive groceries, gas, open boarders and at the brink of WW3.
So MUCH Too MUCH
This is when I have to hold on to Gods promises knowing He is in control. When I’m scared I can turn to Him. He can shelter us in the storm.
Instead of being scared I take a breath and sing loud for all to hear.
In the eye of the storm you remain in control, in the middle of the war you guard my soul. You alone are the anchor when my sails are torn. Your love surrounds me, in the eye of the storm.
Dear Lord, have mercy on us. Please be with the hurting people who need you and have been affected by the storm. Help them to know you are a strong tower to where they can run. Amen!
