Incumbent Councilmember Vince Cavaleri (1,658, 50.9%) leads Tannis Golebiewski (1,594, 49%) after the first tally of votes in the general election. Cavaleri currently holds the Position 5 seat.
Councilmembers Melissa Duque (Position 6) and Sean Paddock (Position 7) did not face challengers and will serve four more years each.
The next round of election numbers will be released at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Election results are certified by each county on Nov. 28. The Secretary of State certifies final results by Dec. 7.
