SEATTLE — You may have to soon decide if your morning commute will cost you more time or more money. The Washington State Transportation Commission (WSTC) will hold its final public meeting Monday morning to discuss proposed changes to toll rates on Interstate 405 and State Route 167.
The proposed changes would raise the maximum toll to $15, up from $10 on I-405 and $9 on SR 167. The minimum rate on the I-405 express toll lanes and the SR 167 high-occupancy toll lanes would increase to $1.
The proposed changes would also extend evening tolling by one hour, until 8 p.m. If passed, the toll changes would take effect on March 1.
