When Donald Trump took the oath of office for his second term, skeptics across the political spectrum were quick to doubt his ability to deliver on his promises made on the campaign trail. But here we are, roughly 100 days in and it’s time to take a step back, put aside the partisan noise, and objectively assess what has been accomplished during his ambitious re-entrance into the oval office.
For starters, he wasted no time dismantling every detrimental policy of the Biden administration. Just like that, with the stroke of a pen, many of Biden’s destructive fossil fuel regulations were eliminated; and America’s road to energy independence is back on track. Reversing Biden’s energy policies will drive down the cost of goods and services for millions of America’s families; a sector abandoned by progressive lawmakers.
Not wasting any time, Trump immediately went to work on January 20th, Inauguration Day, and signed an executive order effectively sealing America’s southern border, and reinstated his signature “Remain in Mexico” policy, while resuming the construction of America’s southern border wall. Since taking office, illegal border crossings have plummeted to its lowest levels ever recorded, down 94%. On January 29th, Trump signed his first piece of legislation into law, “The Laken Riley Act”, in honor of University of Georgia student Laken Riley, who was viciously raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant.
Not satisfied with simply stopping the bleeding, Trump went right to work addressing America’s fentanyl scourge. He declared a national emergency and put China, Mexico, and Canada on notice; especially since these three countries are the primary conduits of fentanyl into the United States. From troops to tariffs, everything remains on the table until the genocide of America’s youth ceases.
Immediately he began liberating American citizens that had been captured or kidnapped by hostile nations. He secured the release of six American hostages held in Venezuela, two Americans held in Afghanistan, an American Israeli citizen held in Hamas captivity, a Pennsylvania teacher in a Russian prison, and another American citizen being held in Belarus: bringing the total number of rescued hostages to eleven.
He reinstated American soldiers that were terminated by the Biden administration for refusing the COVID vaccine, restoring their rank with full back pay. Military recruitment numbers have never been better. He signed an Executive order to protect children from chemical and surgical castration. He signed another order protecting the integrity of Title IX, by eliminating men from competing in women’s athletics, despite several progressive states vowing to resist the federal executive affirmation.
He established the department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), saving hundreds of billions thus far. Elon Musk and his team continue to find massive amounts of government waste and fraud in every government agency. First on the chopping blocks were initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). These bigoted scams cost American taxpayers billions every year, procuring nothing more than a rebranding of discrimination.
But probably one of the most significant aspects of the 100-day benchmark, is the compulsory reconstruction of America’s faltering economy. Trumps reset approach with China has taken a sharp turn. After a long lull in countermeasures against Beijing, Trump rekindled a hardline stance to tackle the massive trade imbalance that has existed for decades. Beijing is officially on notice that Trump is attempting to put in place long-term protections for America’s industrial complex.
Trumps first 100 days shows us he’s back in business, and intends to make these next four years historic, in every sense of the word. His strategic use of tariffs will serve as a starting point for renegotiations with other countries, while generating capital for the United States. Revenues generated will be utilized to pay down the nation’s colossal debt, while simultaneously protecting domestic production. The concept is simply brilliant.
To put it mildly, Trump is playing three-dimensional chess, while the rest of the world plays checkers. As the next 100 days unravel, expect Trump to continue striding forth unfazed by dissent as he initiates the long game by ending the deindustrialization of America. Securing nearly 4 trillion in new investments is certainly a great start to the first100 days of this strategy. Keep the faith America, we are about to enter a new industrial revolution where everyone has an opportunity to participate in the American dream.
