AFT-TN's state chapter launched in 2013. Since then has grown to include nine full-time staff and over 46,000 Tennessee volunteers. They are one of the few organizations that lobby on the behalf of taxpayers and regular Tennesseans at the state level; advocate for policies that make government fiscally responsible: lowering your tax burden and pushing back against reckless government spending & regulations.
