SEATTLE — Wildfire season has arrived in the Evergreen state, according to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Washington saw one of its mildest wildfire seasons in a decade last year, but officials are putting residents on alert as they brace for what could be one of its busiest.
During a media briefing Friday, wildfire experts spoke about wildfire conditions across the state, current wildfires burning in Washington and how people can prevent unnecessary wildfires over the Fourth of July weekend.
