The invasion of America

Imagine living in towns like Eagle Pass or El Paso, Texas, with your community completely under siege from illegal migrant crossings. These cities geographically butt up against Mexico and have been forced to endure the incursion of millions of illegals onto their streets. With tens of thousands illegally crossing into Texas every day, there is no question that the Lone Star state is under invasion.

Since 2021, over six million illegal immigrants have crossed into the United States illegally through this region.

It’s not an over statement to say the border situation in Texas, is a catastrophe that’s beyond words. During the first 27 days of December 2023, the border patrol took into custody more than 225,000 migrants that had illegally crossed into the U.S. That number does not include the 50,000 additional migrants that are processed legally at America’s ports of entry.

Since taking office, Joe Biden has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to infiltrate the U.S. and remain here illegally in violation of American law. Most Americans believe this to be the biggest existential threat to America’s sovereignty. He has effectively turned America into one giant sanctuary city.

In response, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has ordered the Texas national guard and other Texas law enforcement agencies under his command, to seal off the southern border in his state. The Biden Administration has filed several lawsuits to prevent the state of Texas from protecting its sovereignty. Since January 20, 2021, the Biden admin has encouraged this onslaught of migrants that is overwhelming the largest border state in America.

Recently, the Supreme Court sided with the Biden Administration and vacated an injunction that prohibited the feds from removing the razor wire from the border. This prompted Texas Governor Greg Abbott to declare that Joe Biden has failed to fulfill his constitutional obligation to protect the state of Texas from invasion, therefore any federal supremacy is null and void.

The dereliction of duty by President Joe Biden and the director of homeland security A. Mayorkas has prompted Governor Abbott to take further measures to secure his state. Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution, which stipulates that states are not allowed to “enter into any Agreement of Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded.”

Most would agree, six million illegal immigrants constitutes an invasion, and the Texas governor has declared exactly that.

By virtue of its sovereignty, Texas has a legal and moral obligation to defend itself, and to preserve its existence in the face of an invasion. Abbott was quoted as saying, “That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary.” Since the chief executive of the United States refuses to uphold and defend the constitution, the citizens of Texas are effectively on their own.”

Defending a nation’s border is one of the fundamental reasons for government to exist. Texas rightfully believes, since Joe Biden has abdicated his responsibilities, he has therefore forfeited any legitimacy the federal government has in the region. This also presses us to engage on additional constitutional grounds, regarding states’ rights and the 10th amendment. This will have far reaching implications when concluded.

In a show of unity, Florida, South Dakota, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, and Louisiana have pledged to support the Texas fight with all its resources, including police and military personnel, as the clash between Texas and the Biden Administration deepens.

The state of Texas has become ground zero for the political battle that is shaping up. The mass invasion of a sovereign state currently transpiring at the southern border is illegal, immoral, and unsustainable; the scope of which is unprecedented in American history. Kudos to Governor Abbott and the citizens of Texas for refusing to bend a knee to the most radical and lawless American president in American history.

May God bless Texas,
