Shania Twain spotlighted “the women who inspired me,” in celebration of International Women’s Day on Sunday (March 8).

Twain posted clips of music legends on Instagram, and wrote in her caption: “Celebrating Women today and every day! These are the women who inspired me when I was a little kid playing those local dive bars 🤩 Tammy Wynette, Tanya Tucker, Billie Jo Spears, Dolly Parton, Karen Carpenter, Minnie Riperton and Mary Bailey… the lyrics were everything!” Many of the commenters applauded Twain’s “beautiful post,” haled her “a living LEGEND,” and joined her in celebrating International Women’s Day.
