Clinton privately criticized the landmark Heller decision and has vowed to repeal a federal law that protects gun manufacturers from liability lawsuits.
Pratt points out that Clinton has said she admires the restrictive gun laws passed in Australia, where the government announced sweeping gun-control laws 12 days after a mass shooting in 1996.
Australia implemented a mandatory gun buyback program which Clinton called a "good example" in a 2015 primary debate with Sen Bernie Sanders.
The restrictive laws in Australia, Pratt says, "resulted in a literal grinding up of what in the United States would probably be half the guns in the country."
