SEATTLE — Medics with the Seattle Fire Department were racing an infant to the hospital in critical condition when something broke the window of their ambulance.
The shattered glass injured a paramedic, but the crew continued on to the hospital with their patient.
SFD officials said it was the result of someone throwing an object at the ambulance as it was driving through north Seattle last Saturday, July 29.
A few days later, a Seattle fire medic unit that was responding to an emergency in the Wallingford neighborhood had to stop and pull over after a brick was hurled through its windshield.
