SEATTLE — Attendees at Seattle's African American Community Advisory Council expressed outrage and shock over Seattle Police Department (SPD) bodycam footage that caught two officers making light of a collision that left a young woman dead.
It was the first time that the council held a meeting since the video's release on Sept. 11. During the gathering, several people expressed outrage that two police officers would joke about a woman's death.
"I'm a brown person. Is my life not worth it? (Do the officers) think it's not worth it?" asked one woman.
