Federal agents stopped tons of fentanyl and meth possibly headed for the streets of Portland.
"When people are dealing with these kinds of quantities, it's substantial,” Kevin Mokhtari, assistant U.S. attorney, Southern District of California, told KATU.
Prosecutors said Eduardo Mendoza, who went by the nickname of Casper, was arrested in Salem on Wednesday.
"His residence was raided yesterday. It was determined that he wasn't there. We then were able to take a number of investigative techniques to identify his location and federal law enforcement in the Salem, Oregon area was able to locate him and arrest him," Mokhtari said.
