In Biden’s last fifteen minutes of presidency, he preemptively pardoned “Dr.” Anthony Fauci, “General” Mark Milley and members of the J6 committee, particularly Liz Cheney. None of them had been charged with anything before their pardons.
Milley, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2015 to 2019, was grateful Biden pardoned him. He had good reason. Newly elected president Trump has ordered an era of accountability in the Defense Department, and Milley is directly in the crosshairs of that accountability.
New Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced he’s pulling personal security detail and security clearance from Milley. He’s also directing the new Inspector General to conduct a review board to strip Milley of a star in retirement.
Milley’s second portrait will be removed from the Marshall Corridor of Pentagon as I’m writing this commentary. The first one was removed from the Pentagon two hours after Trump’s inauguration.
Milley had been assigned personal security protection after Iran vowed revenge against him for the killing of Qasem Soleimani in 2020, which had been ordered by President Trump.
Most of Hegseth’s actions though stem from Milley’s undermining the chain of command during Trump’s first term when Milley contacted China without authorization. On two different occasions Milley called his Chinese counterpart to inform him the US had no plans to strike China, in what he called an effort to avert tensions with China. This folks is an act of treason. Hegseth’s action couldn’t happen to a more deserving turncoat.
But Milley isn’t the only collaborator to be stripped of personal security. Also on the list are the fifty-one intel officials that lied to the nation when they signed the Hunter laptop letter, stating falsely it was Russian disinformation. This includes former National Intelligence Director James Clapper, former CIA director and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, former CIA director John Brennan, and former CIA Director Michael. Think about that folks, three former CIA Directors, a National Intelligence Officer, and a National Security Director lied to the American people to cover for the Bidens just fifteen days before the election. They were all still being given security details on taxpayer money, instead of rotting in Federal prison.
The New York Post had emails showing Hunter Biden coordinated for his father with executives of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. This was before Biden forced out Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, by threatening to withhold aide while Biden was Vice President. (Obama didn’t know about this?) Biden is on video bragging about getting the prosecutor fired. In an effort to defeat Trump, they lied to us and then stuck to their lies in the face of the truth.
It’s not the first time Clapper has lied to America. In 2013, he lied to a congressional committee about the NSA’s practice of eavesdropping on millions of American phone calls. He told the committee the NSA does not collect any data from Americans. When it came out they did in fact collect data, Clapper resigned as NSA director. By 2017 he was working for CNN as a national security analyst.
Then there’s Liz Cheney. After voting to impeach Trump’s second hearing, Cheney was the hand-picked chairwoman of Nancy Pelosi’s sham J/6 protest committee. She and fellow committee member, Adam Kinzinger were censured by the Republican National Committee in February 2022 for their malfeasance.
Like her father, Dick, Cheney is another Swampy war-hawk bureaucrat. After her stint on the J/6 committee she was thrown out of the Wyoming Republican party and summarily slaughtered in her rebid for Wyoming’s House seat. To quote a rich comment from Wikipedia - “Cheney said that she intends to be "…one of the leaders in a fight to help to restore the Republican Party. After that statement she endorsed and campaigned for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election!” (My exclamation point)
After being rejected by her party, Cheney landed a job as a professor of practice at the University of Virginia Center for Politics. Makes one wonder what she is going to teach – how to be a Republican in Name Only (RINO)? Despite salaries being a public record at UV, Cheney is not mentioned.
Kinzinger, who turned down Biden’s pardon, now earns $800,000 per year at CNN. He amassed a $17 million net worth on a congressman’s salary. His beef with Trump stems from being rejected for a Defense Department gig during the first Trump presidency.
The Swamp is starting to be drained, folks.
