'Operation Epic Fury' by Vincent

Let’s face facts, for decades, the world has been held hostage by the Iranian regime’s doomsday ambitions and hostile actions.  From the 1979 hostage taking, to masterminding the October Seventh Massacre, Tehran and its leaders have made it abundantly clear that its rouge regime operates outside all the rules of civility.  For decades numerous U.S. presidents have kicked this radical can down the road.  President Barack Obama even tried to purchase a nuclear freeze by sending 1.7 billion in cash, utilizing taxpayer treasure as a bribe; but that costly kicked-can eventually triggered “Operation Epic Fury.”

The time for diplomacy had reached its crescendo, and the time for niceties had come to an end.  We’ve stared down the barrel of the Iranian gun long enough, and the notion that more negotiations would yield anything fruitful had come to an end.  According to sources, Iranian leaders told American Envoy Steve Witcoff and Jared Kushner, that “Iran will not yield anything diplomatically, that America couldn’t take militarily.”  The world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism quickly found out, they gave an ultimatum to the wrong president.

Despite international sanctions and regional pressure over the years, Iran has persisted in its pursuit of nuclear weapon capabilities and long-range ballistic missile technology.  For countless years, the rhetoric emanating from the Iranian regime regarding “death to America and death to Israel” weren’t just hostile threats, they were chilling premonitions.  The destruction of Israel was always Iran’s intent as it pretended to develop a civilian nuclear program, with full intentions to carry out its declared annihilation of the Israeli state.  The mere fact we allowed this existential threat to fester this long, reflects poorly on past American leadership.

The usual critics that helped to create this monster will no doubt trot out the same old tired arguments about “endless wars,” “innocent civilians,” etc.; this just after the oppressive regime just gunned down 30-40 thousand of its own people and conducted public hangings and firing squads; simply for protesting their current living conditions.  How many times must they prove to the world that they will sacrifice their own people simply to declare their ideological barbarity?  Spare me any sanctimonious lectures from the usual progressive operatives, we owe it to the regime’s brave victims who gave the ultimate sacrifice for a future of potential liberty.

And let’s be crystal clear, Operation Epic Fury is not about vengeance, it’s about basic humanity.  It’s about taking the necessary steps to ensure that the blight of Iranian oppression does not extend outside its borders.  By taking military action now this will avert regional catastrophe down the road.  The only thing the brutal Iranian regime understands is brut force, and Trumps peace through strength initiative is exactly that.  This initiative is not just for America’s security; it’s a symbolic gesture to those who look to us for regional security and stability in a turbulent world.

Moreover, let’s talk about America’s allies in the region, countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others, these countries, just like Israel live under constant fear of Iranian aggression.  As a matter of fact, since the start of Epic Fury, they have all come under ballistic missile and drone attacks, causing numerous civilian casualties in hotels and airports.  By standing firm with our Arab allies, we prove that we will not allow Iranian aggression and a potential nuclear apocalypse to emerge from the ashes of past indecision.

Operation Epic Fury represents a pivotal moment in world history.  This is a chance to correct years of miscalculations and indecision and deliver a decisive blow to one of the world’s most repressive regimes.  If history has taught us anything, it has taught us that retreating or allowing red lines to be crossed only leads to further aggression.  In today’s world, learning that lesson would simply be too costly to overcome.  It’s time to allow the Iranian people an opportunity to rise and take control of their own destiny.  May God always bless the United States and its brave military men and women.
