Colt Gray was charged with four counts of felony murder and will be tried as an adult after two students and two teachers were killed at Apalachee High School in Winder.
The victims were identified as Mason Schermerhorn, a 14-year-old student; Christian Angulo, a 14-year-old student; Richard Aspinwall, a teacher; and Christina Irimie, another teacher.
His father, Colin Gray, 54, was arrested Thursday in connection with the shooting and charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children.
An arrest warrant affidavit for the father obtained by CNN states he allegedly gave his son an AR-15-style rifle "with knowledge he was a threat to himself and others."
Marcee Ann Gray, 43, has faced prosecution in Barrow, Fulton, Forsyth and Ben Hill counties for charges including domestic violence, drug possession, property damage and traffic violations, multiple sources reported.
Her criminal record seemingly began in March 2007 on five vehicle-related misdemeanors for reckless driving, improper right turn and DUI, court records obtained by The Independent show.
