Governor Greg Gianforte announced that the state of Montana secured a grant from FEMA to assist with costs of ongoing firefighting efforts.
The grant is expected to cover around 75% of the state's costs.
The Windy Rock Fire has burned over 3,800 acres, according to authorities. Emergency evacuation orders remain in place.
