A Mississippi state representative is facing charges after he was arrested in Hernando on Friday.
According to DeSoto County jail records, Republican Representative Jeff Hale has been charged with disorderly conduct, driving under the influence, reckless driving, and speeding.
Records show that Hale bonded out of jail on Saturday. He is scheduled to be in court on August 26.
Hale represents District 24 in DeSoto County. He's held the seat since 2016.
According to the Mississippi Legislature, Hale is affiliated with the Southern Rotary Club, the Bridgetown Fire Department, and the Mississippi Firefighters Association.
