LAKEWOOD, Wash. — On Monday evening, the Lakewood City Council approved two ordinances that will ban public camping and the use of controlled substances in public.
The goal of these ordinances are to protect public spaces from the harmful impact of open drug use and the placement of unauthorized temporary housing, according to the city of Lakewood.
