Photos and video from the scene show extreme damage to the former Golden Sun Feeds facility. The explosion knocked down the top section of the tallest part of the structure, which stood hundreds of feet high. Photos showed flames at the facility and black smoke billowing from the scene.
The plant is currently owned by Horizon BioFuels. The company’s social media page says it produces bedding, heating pellets and smoking pellets.
