A couple years ago I wrote a four-part essay on the corruptness of the FBI at the highest levels. I specifically did not criticize the agents in the field as they do a fine job and only carry out the orders given them. I did explicitly point out Christopher Wray, Andrew McCabe, James Comey, Robert Mueller, and of course, one of the most contemptible men to ever head up any agency, J Edgar Hoover. Comey, Mueller, and Wray did everything in the power to trip up President Trump and in my opinion, should be brought up on charges of treason for interfering in a US election.
That’s why it’s so refreshing to see the new Director, Kash Patel at the head of the Bureau. Admittedly, I didn’t know much about Mr. Patel before President Trump nominated him from office, but I have caught up and believe the nation finally has a man they can trust.
A review of what Patel has done in his first month concerning lawlessness, including drug trade, gang activity and violent crime is in sharp contrast to what had largely been ignored under past presidents Biden, Obama and Bush. He also cooperates well with Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Patel is quick to give credit to where it is deserved - the agents who carry out assigned missions. He has said, “When you let good cops be good cops, this is what happens.”
In his five weeks in office the FBI has arrested one of the top three MS-13 gang leaders in Woodbridge Virginia, a Salvadoran named Henry Josue Villatoro Santos who was in charge of MS-13’s east coast operation. After raiding his mother’s house, they had to drag him out physically. It is expected he will be deported to an El Salvador where hundreds of others have been sent since Trump took office.
Additionally, three of the top fugitives on the 10 Most Wanted List to have been arrested in just five weeks. They are:
- Arnoldo Jimenez, who murdered his wife in Burbank Illinois in 2012.
- Don Fields II charged with child sex trafficking and child rape.
- Francisco Roman-Bardales was also a MS-13 leader, was caught in Mexico and charged with racketeering, conspiracy, abetting terrorists and other crimes.
By comparison, only four criminals were arrested from the Top Ten list in all of Biden’s years in office. If you can find the list or number arrested under Obama, other than Bid Laden, please let me know.
Patel’s FBI have also arrested 22 members of a drug trafficking ring being operated out of Lubbock Texas. They possibly had ties to drug cartels in Mexico.
Just recently, the FBI captured and cracked down on the people committing acts of vandalism at various Tesla dealerships and individual Tesla owners. Bondi described these acts as domestic terrorism. This includes the 36 year old terrorist, Paul Kin from Las Vegas Nevada recently arrested. He is seen on video using Molotov cocktails, shooting vehicles with an AR-30 rifle, and spray painting the word “resist” on other vehicles.
And just last week, the Department of Justice broke up a cryptocurrency operation that was being used to launder money to Hamas. The Treasury Department stated they believed the operation had been going on since 2020.
Patel has also announced plans to relocate 1,500 agents and analysts out of the DC Swamp to the field where crime is actually happening.
There is another situation for Patel to look into, hopefully sooner than later. Nine FBI agents have filed a lawsuit (anonymously) to block public identification of FBI employees who worked on the January 6th Capitol protest investigations. So did the FBI’s Agent Association in an effort to frivolously clog up the court system against Trump further. They want to avoid potential retaliatory efforts against them fearing retribution from the people that were imprisoned and then pardoned. They call those people convicted felons in their filings, as opposed to wrongly convicted patriots protesting a stolen election. There are no known plans to fire agents or taking punitive action.
This indicates they are trying to hide what they did to compel and abet the protestors to enter the Capitol and to further hide the actions of Nancy Pelosi and the corrupt J/6 committee.
FBI Director Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, in conjunction with Attorney General Pam Bondi, seem to have our best interests in mind if the first five weeks are any indication at what we can expect.
Can’t wait to see what they do tomorrow.
