Teton County District Court Judge Melissa Owens ruled that two laws passed by Wyoming legislature regarding abortion violate the Wyoming Constitution.
The 'Life Act' and the 'Medication Abortion Ban' are the laws in question being struck down, once again.
Article 1, Section 38 of the Wyoming Constitution states that every Wyomingite has the right to healthcare access. Owens says that the two laws infringed on this Article, and on the rights of pregnant women.
The decision means that abortion will remain legal until the point of viability, at least for now.
The ruling is likely to be brought to the Wyoming Supreme Court.
