A Nation without Borders

From October of 2023, through April of 2024, over 1.5 million illegal aliens have crossed into America according to recently released data from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  This latest sample size shows the chaotic environment created at America’s southern border since the Biden administration took office in January of 2021.

Since that fateful day, the onslaught has been nonstop, since they began the process of dismantling every immigration policy put in place by the two previous administrations.

To give some context, that number is roughly half a million more people than the president's home state of Delaware, and more than double the population of the state of Vermont.  There’s no disputing that the United States is fundamentally under invasion from illegal immigrants.

Estimates show that since taking office, the Biden administration has allowed over 8 million illegals to enter and remain illegally in the United States.  Before that, the Trump administration had negotiated with Mexico and the Central American countries known as the “triangle”, to keep those seeking asylum on their side of the border until their cases could be heard.  This program was appropriately dubbed “Trump’s remain in Mexico policy.”

Border officials have gone on record and stated, “We are overwhelmed by the continued influx of migrants at the U.S. Mexico border, it’s a crisis that has spiraled out of control.”  These same officials candidly admit they do not have the resources to stop the cartels from trafficking immigrants into the U.S., not to mention the large amounts of drugs being smuggled into the country daily.

Currently, the U.S. immigration courts have a backlog of over 3 million pending asylum cases; and that number continues to grow every day.  Reports now show that many of the immigrants are from countries considered hostile to the United States, and most of these countries do not have a proper vetting system and lack reciprocity with the United States.

A proper vetting system consists of making sure each alien isn’t a known terrorist, has a criminal record, a contagious disease, or prior immigration violations.  Unfortunately, DHS can only check crime and terrorism databases connected with the United States or its allied nations.

A nation's security is the number one job of the executive branch and its appointees.  Recently, the House of Representatives formally filed, and passed, articles of impeachment against Biden appointee Homeland Security Director Alejandro Mayorkas.

He stands accused of high crimes and misdemeanors for his dereliction of duty at the border.  The House Resolution states, “Throughout his tenure as Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas has repeatedly violated laws enacted by Congress regarding immigration and border security.”
The House Resolution (HR-863) concludes by stating, “Mayorkas has continued in his refusal to comply with the law, and thereby acted to the grave detriment of the interests of the United States.”

Each day Mayorkas remains employed by the United States of America, he remains a clear and present danger to our nation’s security.  It will take years and massive amounts of taxpayer dollars to undo the damage inflicted upon the American people by Secretary Mayorkas and this administration.

Thank you and God bless.
